Hey everyone, I created a workspace to manage our company’s orders from the factories we work with. There is a board that shows the orders, and for each order, there are subitems that describe the items ordered, the quantity of each item, the price per item, and the total cost of each ordered item. I am trying to sum the total cost of the order in the main row for each order. For example, in order number 10, there are 5 items ordered, where item 1 costs $10,000, item 2 costs $35,000, and so on, making the total order amount $100,000. Does anyone have an idea on how I can sum the total cost from the subitems to display the total order cost from the factory in the main order row?
You can use the built-in feature “Show summary on parent item” (use the 3-dot menu in the subitem column to select that) or use an app like Rollup Subitems that does the same and much more.
