Hi all, we have designers working on projects that are variable and can take aprox 2 weeks to complete. We currently have a “progress tracker” linked to status columns which covers all the structured “must dos”. But what im really wanting is an easy way for a designer to dial in where they feel their progress is up to so others can view it.
I could use a status columns with a bunch of % completion options, but is there any other way? And how could this be automated from (ie if it was 80% for 4 weeks could i automate from it).
To track designer progress in Monday.com, you can use a Numeric Column where designers manually input their percentage of completion e.g., 20%, 50%, 80%. This allows more precise tracking.
You can also use the Progress Column to visually display progress as a bar. For automation, set up rules to notify designers if their progress remains unchanged for a set period (e.g., if it stays at 80% for 4 days).
Additionally, you can use a Timeline or Gantt Chart view for a visual representation of project timelines, and link it to status or numeric columns for automatic updates. These options allow for flexibility while keeping progress visible and automating reminders when needed.
