Time Tracking Reporting

Description

Our organisation relies heavily on tracking hours on individual tasks to make sure we are meeting our client contracts. In order to do this, we need to be able to total the amount of time tracked across each departments tasks, how many hours have been tracked per month.

Currently the time tracking reporting is incredibly limited without having to invest in additional apps at a cost, which isn’t viable when we are already paying for an enterprise solution.

We need the ability in dashboard reporting to be able to filter time tracking data by the dates it was started and stopped, and by user. We also need the ability to filter by length of time tracked.

What are you trying to achieve

To accurately measure whether we are meeting our contracted task hours related to a client, with the ability to report on whether we are over or underserving clients month by month.

Hi @Charley ! :waving_hand:
You’ve highlighted a very real limitation - the native Time Tracking in monday makes it tough to get detailed, cross-board insights on hours by department or client.

Our Time in Status for monday.com app was designed to solve exactly this. It provides advanced time reports where you can filter by date range, user, board, or task duration, and easily see total tracked hours per department or client per month. You can also visualize this data on dashboards or export it for client reporting.

It’s a powerful way to make sure you’re meeting your contracted hours and staying on top of team performance. :rocket:
