Hi @AmirCodex - Welcome to the community! Currently you cannot swap item “types” between main Items and SubItems. However, this is eventually coming as SubItem functionality gets more built out. Technically SubItems are still in beta, so stay tuned for more functionality later this year and early 2021.

I’m looking for the same utility as AmirCodex. I’ve noticed that when I right clik an item, the 8th option in the pop up menu is “convert to subitem” but it is grayed out. So it looks like the functionality is there. How does one activate it?

+1 for this feature! Tasks often get added that then turn into more complex processes. Then we’re left with a bunch of items that really should all be a subitems of a larger idea.

I am waiting for this feature too… I like to make the whole list of tasks and then start grouping them into categories or larger projects. Right now I have to do it in notes, organize everything, and then transfer it over to Monday!
