Unrelated and/confidential E-Mails in EMails & Activity Widget

We use the “EMails & Activity Widget” for all customer related email conversation. E-Mails are sent via Outlook integration.

Our critical problem is that MANY unrelated incoming/outgoing emails are shown in this tab. While these emails may have been addressed to / sent by colleagues that use Monday and who have shared their account, they have NOTHING to do with the actual item/project.

These e-mails include: E-Mails sent out to the whole company (e.g. All-Hands follow up), confidential e-mails, e-mails concerning other items/projects.

We asked that this GDPR sensitive issue is being fixed!

Many other users have the same problem, which is described here: Unrelated emails in Emails & Activity widget - this ticket is closed because only one specific case could be solved; the general topic remains open.

@ANaLi if Im not mistaken the way emails and activities work is that it’s documenting emails by the email column on the board, meaning if you have more than one item with same email address, all emails will be documented on all these items.

A possible workaround, is using SuperMail app, that has similar functionality but it’s documenting the emails by the item ID rather than email address.
