I know this may sound odd but I’d like to create a view that’s just my sub items and get rid of the main item.
I have various info tagged to the item but it would be super helpful to actually have a table view of my sub item data/ability to export to csv
not odd at all, i find myself wishing for this from a reporting perspective almost daily - there are several use cases where being able to view one or the other separately is useful. I would vote for this.
I agree- we break project items into subitems, with the owner of the delivery of the item at the item level, sub items being owned as the subitem level. when we do reporting, it comes up with the item/owner - which is not completely clear. If we could have a discreet reporting function that can focus only on subitems that would be great

I am about to build out my first board - a communications timeline. One of the asks is to be able to export all of the phases (draft 1, print, etc.) for each deliverable. But I don’t need to show the actual item, just the sub items I am using for phases!
I am hoping to use a view that shows only the subitem columns I need to export.
