I’m trying to find a way to view the subitems of an item connected on another board.
The below example shows using the item card view on the item to see the connection, but this doesn’t show the connected item’s subitems.
Any idea how I can do this? (without having to connect to all of the subitems)

Hi @BiancaT I do have thic ticked and we can see the item come through. But we cannot see the item’s subitems. The widget you have may be showing subitems from the same board? Where I want to see subitems through a connection. So subitems from another board.

I want to make sure I am understanding your set up and end goal here…
To clarify, you have a subitem connected to a parent item in a secondary board, and you’d like for that connected subitem to display in the widget, as shown in this screen-recording below?
If this is how it appears on your end, there may potentially be a bug at play 
Hi Bianca - is this screen recording of a real-world example of connected column containing sub-items from a separate board being displayed in the connected boards widget on the item card? I am really hoping this is possible, but I cannot replicate this and the documentation implies that it’s not possible. I just keep seeing the prompt to “choose items” even when the configuration is set up correctly and sub-items are identified and selected. TIA
