Way of using voting to schedule meetings

Is there a way to use the voting feature to make a meeting scheduling form?

A way of replicating Doodle nicely.

Good idea actually. I can’t think of a way to achieve it. From the Doodle side, it integrates with Zapier, so perhaps creating a Zap that’s triggered by a button on the monday board to create a calendar invite with the times and attendees or something?

Monday is getting hype

Hey there!

I did some looking around and I think this may work for you?

The voting feature isn’t designed for scheduling, but you can replicate a Doodle-style meeting poll by setting up a board with structured options.

How to Set It Up:

  1. Create a Board with meeting date/time options as items.
  2. Add a People Column to see who is voting.
  3. Enable the Voting Column so participants can select their preferred time.
  4. Use Automations to notify when a time reaches a certain number of votes.

Limitations & Workarounds:

  • The Voting Column only tracks the number of votes, not who voted. If you need that, a Status Column with each person selecting their preference might work better.
  • If you need polls per user, use Forms instead and collect responses into a board.
  • Integrate with Google Calendar to confirm the final time once the votes are in.

It’s not an exact Doodle replacement, but this setup works well for simple scheduling. Would this work for your needs?
