I just started using Monday.
I want to create a gantt like board for management purposes.
In that board I want to be able to assign tasks to people - does that mean I have to invite each and every one of them?
Assuming the answer is yes, is there a way to add them without them getting notification emails? There’s no point in all people logging into Monday now to see that board while its being created…

Welcome to the community and extension of the monday.com family!
To have the full effect of using the People column you would need to invite them and they would need to accept the invitation to have a live user profile. If you are looking to just to see how this could look you can use a Status column, call it Owner and then change the labels to the name of team members.
