When status changes to something, open a form from a different board

Description

Two of our teams collaborate with each other often on numerous tasks. For one of those tasks, I have created a Monday form to collect relevant information. In an effort to avoid clicks Team A would like to change a status column to request this work, then have the form automictically appear so the required information could be retrieved.

What are you trying to achieve

Having a Monday form auto appear when a status is changed to something.

@Palmer Welcome to the community!

I know it isn’t necessarily the same thing, but there is something similar you can do.

Let’s say you have a task board. If you have Pro plan or Enterprise plan, use workflows create a task on the task board. Assign it to the person who triggered status change [see picture below] and paste the link into a text or link column.

You can also post it as an update on the item in question if you want.

Thank you, David! There are some other teams with Task boards where this could be helpful, and I’ll keep it in mind. Unfortunately, for this use case they want to “make it simple and user friendly.” (Translation: Foolproof) Basically making the process error resistant by spoon feeding the next steps to the end user.
