When status of Board X changes to something then change status of Board Y to something

I have read many of the forums posts on this and still I don’t have suitable outcome.

I have the automation of 'when status changed to Allocated then, create an item in Quotes and Billing and connect Job cards with Quotes and Billing.
This creates a nice link from my job boards to the quote and invoicing board BUT I can’t then work out how to have a dynamic status change.
1 - If i use mirror I can’t create automation in Quotes and Billing from this column.
2- I can’t find an automation that will allow When status in Job board changes to done then move linked item i Quotes and Billing to Ready to invoice group OR change status of item in Quotes and Billing to ready to invoice.

I am at a loss to find the answer. Have I missed it somewhere? We want to use Monday to drive the business but I feel like there are some basics missing.

Have you tried the solution by adding multiple actions in the automation? Effectively the automation in the attached screenshot will create an item in multiple boards and connect them with originating board? Hope this helps
