Workflows Item Creation with Date Transfer

We are tracking conferences our team attends on one board with dates of the conferences. I would like to have an automation that once the status is changed from “Planned” to “Scheduled,” a new item is created in our social media planner. However, I cannot figure out how to get the item to select the start date from the conference board; therefore, it would be irrelevant because the date would be all wrong. Does anyone know a workaround for this to get dates to transfer with new items created?

Hi @bbain - you can map the columns in the item creation automation from source to destination (timeline, date, etc).

Can you offer some additional information as maybe I am missing something?
