Working with deals and existing customers

Hi, I’m new to Monday and have a (probably very basic) question:

We run annual conferences and events where our customers are various exhibitors. Before each event, we send them e-mails and try to get them onboard as exhibitors. To keep track of what we’ve said to each customer and where each one is in the sales process, we’ve had a routine in our current CRM (Zoho CRM) to create a deal for each relevant customer.

I’m not really sure if this is the best way to do it, but haven’t really found any good articles on how to work with existing customers in a CRM. It all seems to be about getting leads and converting them to customers.

My questions are: What are you best practices when it comes to selling to existing customers? And how could/should this be done in Monday.com? I’ve been looking for mass creating deals, or creating a sales campaign towards existing customers etc., but can’t find anything useful.

Thank you for any tips and advise!

The way I would solve for this is to create an Automation in the companies Board that will create a new Deal for each customer when a Status switches/button is clicked.

Then each year when the conference arrives: Mass select all your relevant customers and triggere the status switch/button to create a deal for each of them.

In your Deals Board you can make sure to configure a Pipeline that suits your companies process. In that way you have an opportunity annually, for each customer that goes through the pipeline.

Thanks Shayan! That sounds like a very good idea. I’ll go ahead and try to configure that, I believe that would make a good and easy routine for each round of conference sales.
