100% agree. Maybe the functionality isn’t fully rolled out. What’s the point in having parent folders that you don’t have access to? Or having a “main” workspace that you can’t change the name of it?
+1 for being able to hide these - appreciate their use case for larger teams perhaps but currently they’re just messing up the side bar and offsetting the content our team uses regularly. Even just being able to hide the icons would be a great start!
YES! THIS! Also - can you even delete a workspace? We have one that has no boards in it - we want to get rid of it completely, it’s a spare. Not sure how…?
agreed! we are about to start rolling out and giving restricted access to people outside of our ourganisation and dont want to show them the other areas we have
I have multiple workspaces that I am not apart of but since the company is a designated team and the person who created the workspace added the team as members they are on my Home page and other places.
It would be helpful to be able not only to organize them of importance but to also remove my self or hide them so I do not have to see them in my dropdown or on my Home page.
Workspace permissions should have the same options as boards. We set up workspaces for each client to keep their information in one place, but our contracts do not allow us to share their names. Since everyone can see all workspaces in the listing, we now have to use codes to comply with our contracts; which is confusing to everyone.
HI Everyone! I am happy to share that this feature is now released! Account admins can set closed workspaces appearance to ‘hidden’ via Admin panel > Customization > Features tab > Closed workspaces visibility.
Users will only be able to see workspaces they are member of OR workspaces they collaborate on
The change is applied to all the closed workspaces in the account
Collaborators are able to find closed workspaces even if the visibility status is hidden
While account admins won’t see hidden workspaces that they are not member of in the workspace drop down and ‘Browse all workspaces’ screen, they will be able to see them via** **Administration panel > Content directory
Similar to a private board, when a user attempts to directly access a hidden workspace where they are not a member, they will be directed to a designated ‘no access’ screen.
Hidden workspaces’ are not a new category; they are simply closed workspaces that have been configured to be hidden at the account level.
Thank you for sharing your feedback and helping us shape our future roadmap!
