When chasing tasks internally, or asking for an update on tasks external clients can currently see these message. It would be good to be able to start a private conversation about tasks. Therefore keeping all comms relating to that project and client within the board.
Seconding this idea - it would help keep us working in Monday, instead of having to move to Slack or email to keep discussions between certain members. It would be great to have a choice when sending an update to select “Private message” and select the people who can see that update. Then for that full update thread to remain visible only to those who are tagged
It really is an essential. we should avoiding having to go back to email/ Slack etc and keep it all in Monday. This feature would allow it.
Maybe just add a “Private” checkbox for each message in the task follow-up section sounds like a fast and easy deploy solution. If it’s checked, only the people mentioned in the message body can see it and get it by email. All the reply messages heritage the Private checked by default, but the user can change it any time for convenience.
Hope that feature be available ASAP.
It would be great to have this feature implemented as soon as possible, so we can stop using other tools for such a basic need in our daily workflow.
