Add Tags/Metadata/header fields to Boards

This request is to add tags or header fields to Boards for cases in which certain data applies to every Item in a Board. And, to make that header data available to Automations.

For example, imagine a Personnel Tracking board to identify and track candidates for a newly won contract. The Board is specific to the new contract, so the contract info (contract #, contract agency) is the same for all candidates. When we push a candidate from this Board to HR, through an Automation, we need to include the contract info because HR is processing many people against many different contracts.

To do this now, I have to add a bunch of columns to the Personnel Tracking Board to repeat the same contract info in every Item (so that it’s available to the Automation routine). Instead, let’s have the ability to add this common data once at the Board header level as tags or header fields, along with the ability to reference it in Automations.
