Assingning a Team in people column

Hi,

I have a shareable board to which I’ve created a Team (~15 persons) to provide access to the board (invited the team). This board only has items, no subitems.

The issue I’m currently finding is that when I want to assign that Team to an item, I get the following notice:

“Hold it… First assign the user / team to the item and then to its subitem. The item is currently hidden to them”

It’s seems to be referring to subitems, which are non-existant and it stays the item is hidden to them. This whole Team has been invited to the board and permissions are not restricted (View all items on the board).

Anyone that can shed some light on this?

Hi Drew, the problem sorted itself after a few days and has not occurred again. At the time I did have the Teams just created. Perhaps it takes a while (I only checked again a few days after) for the system to recognize newly created Teams?

I am facing the same error in one of my client instance.

@Geo Were you trying to assign a team to a single item when that error popped up?

Yes @dmccarthy22710 I was trying to assign the team to an item.

I’d recommend putting in a ticket with support. I believe that’s an error
