For event planning project boards: I am using a general caster formula to take my event date and subtract XX # of days from that event date, to produce new column for DUE DATE. But this means I have to put my event date down that one column in every task (for caster to run against it and make new due date each time). How can I autofill or repeat the date down the column to every task in that board?
BTW using General Caster and not formula function because function does not result in a DATE that can be seen on calendars, etc.
You should be able to select all the items and edit the date on one item and it changes all items (or up to I think 500 at a time). Just use the checkbox on the left of each item. Click first and shift+click the last.
Let me know if I’ve misunderstood, but if you’re looking to bulk input a date for multiple items our batch actions might be the answer - this shouldn’t impact what you have set up with general caster, but let me know incase I might be off the mark here!
