I have a Quote board and we currently select the Opportunity, the Account and Contact to associate it with the Quote. Is there a way with automations if we just select the opportunity, we can link to the account and contact information from the opportunity item?
I assume the Account and Contact on Opportunity board are connect board columns, and the quote is connect board columns to the same boards?
The app Column Magic can assist. There is an action that copies columns from a linked item to an item when a column changes.
However, as the developer I will admit its not the most straightforward recipe to use since you need to know the column IDs of the columns on each board. If you’re open to a third-party app solution, just let me know and I can set up a quick demo to get you going with it for this use case.
