Automations looking at a specific date and allowing for business days and ideally without having to add a numbers column

Please allow us to be able to set a specific date something is due, say for example, a meeting date and then from this date have various columns for different due dates of every step. For example, 3 business days before the meeting date, do this. 7 business days do that. Ideally without having do add a number column. At the moment we can do this but have to add a number column and are not able to set to business days. Even if we hide weekends the automation does not skip the weekend which to me seems useless.
