Board Items/Subitems to line items in a document

We have a board we use as our service catalogue. Item is the service and subitem are the steps included within that service.

We are looking for a workflow where the item/subitems can be selected added to a template document for Statement of Work, and then we can send to customer for signature. Biggest hurdle is getting those items/subitems to appear as a line item in a document.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
