In the email sequences section of the Monday CRM, you can set the first step of an automated sequence to be a manual email. This manual email can be made a template for the bulk of the text. The reason we use a manual email is because it gives us a chance to personalize the first outreach even more to gain more attention.
When enrolling a contact to the sequence, the email text preview is added to the “Email & Activities” view as a manual email with action required to be sent and start the automatic sequences process. However, there is no option to actually send that email, the only option is to mark the email as “Done”. Doing this does not send the email, and from my understanding that manual email “activity” is there just for reference and the text will need to be copied to an actual email to send.
What are you trying to achieve
I would like for there to be a way to send the generated email from the emails and activities view. We would like the template to take care of the bulk of the text, but we would like to have the option to edit the generated email from the emails and activities view and then click to send from the same place.
Currently the template generated text would need to be added to a new email and then sent. After that, the person would need to go back and mark that step as done.
