"When {trigger} happens, send email from template" in Emails & Activities

Hello everyone! This post is stemming from a conversation in the Monday.com Facebook Community Group. There seemed to be a lot of traction for a Emails & Activities automation feature that “sends email from template”. Game-changer for sales CRM users like myself and my clients.

Bianca was able to confirm that this has not yet made it to the backlog, so I wanted to be sure to submit this feature request. I know there are others wanting this so be sure to tap that “vote” button! :innocent:

I honestly find it hard to believe people don’t consider this a MAJOR problem. Monday talks about its platform and CRM as the king of automations. It does have email automations and these emails do show up in “Emails and Activities” but they don’t apply to the item.

Then if you want to filter by item using “item related activities” these emails don’t show up, talk about confusing for the recipient. They could reply on the chain and you’d never see it. The alternative being every email from that customer for every issue gets muddled and mixed up, so it’s there but you can’t even find it or miss it when it’s first sent.

Needs to be fixed! Hope more can see.
