Calendar view as a Duration

Requesting to show calendar view as a duration in minutes rather than just a marker at the start time.

Third party options are available but these violates policy as it would share data with the hosting app and would require our company to have a contract with the third party app provider and security review of their applications.

Why

For instance, the hourly view doesnt quite show the actually start time and end time, instead sets it as a defined marker. This means all information of the meeting isn’t precise and we have to rely on adding an secondary calendar entry on Outlook with the specific time and duration. It really doesnt allow for proper event and resource planning.

What needs to be done?

This would be the acceptance criteria for the new request

  • in table view: choose a start and end time [e.g. 09.30 - 14.00]
  • in table view: choose a duration [e.g. 3,5 hours]
  • in calendar view: select multiple hours when adding new item

Just wanted to let you know that we might actually fit into the policies you mentioned (or at least we try to) - Our app is hosted by monday, and it is entirely client facing app with no data leaving your monday.com instance in any case! If you might need more information, feel free to reach to out support at support@spicytab.com!
