One of our boards has a column for every week of the year at both item and sub-item level and it takes a lot of scrolling to get to the end. I’d like to close up the past columns, while still keeping the columns aligned at item and sub-item level.
Hiding columns doesn’t work because we can’t do that at sub-item level and the columns lose their alignment. Collapsing the columns does work, but it only appears for me. Is there a way to collapse the columns for all the board users?
By using the mirror columns, you can maintain the alignment of items and sub-items while creating a condensed view of the past columns.
It’s important to note that any changes made in the original board will not be reflected in the mirrored columns automatically and you need to manually update the mirrored columns in the new board if there are changes in the original board.
Thanks both. I think I’ll probably encourage users to close up their own columns if they choose to than to start restricting their access to past data or setting up mirror columns.
