Change status based on a dropdown column using formula

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me with this. Is there any way to use the formula to do the following:

If column A (=dropdown column) has more than 1 value then change the status of column B to “xx”

Currently it isn’t possible to trigger a column change (in your case, status column) using the formula column (natively). That being said, there is an app available via our apps marketplace called General Caster, that you might find relevant? It enables you to utilise formulas, to cast results to different columns.
