Connect boards , contacts as the main item

Hi

i am using the monday CRM.
i want to use the conacts board to create a new board where i will manage my sales partners, and use differnt items than the original ocntacts board has… i want the contacts to be themain item of the board. i managed to set up a connect board for the contacts name but only as a second item , not main.

is there a way to do that ?

Create a New Board: Set up a new board to manage sales partners

  • Add a “Connect Boards” column.
  • Link it to your Contacts board.
  • Make Contacts the Main Item:
    • The linked contact will be the main item in the new board.
    • Add other details like sales performance or contact info in separate columns.
  • Customize Your Board: Add columns for other sales-related info (e.g., deals, status).

i made a new board and could it “partner”, then added connect board of CONTACTS. however, i want to make the connect board column instead of the “partner” column.
is that possible?

There’s no way to have a ‘Connected’ column be the first column of the board. Can you just create another contacts board and rename it to?

CRM’s contacts board can not be duplicated . so opening a new contacts board, i wont have access to my crm’s contacts.
will have to think of differnt fomat where contacts would be 2nd column

You could use an automation to rename the item so it matches the name of the contact (tools like Formula Automations or General Caster would allow you to do this).
