Converting Lead to Deal: Move lead to deal or keep the lead on the leads board

Hello everyone,

Just curious what peoples’ opinions are on moving a qualified lead to the deals board or keeping it on the leads board and adding a new deal to the deals board. I understand visualizing lead data is a bit more straightforward by keeping it on the leads board but you can bring all the lead data to the deals board and the deal creation date can be the “qualification date” for the lead so you can determine your conversation rates and times. The only real benefits I see keeping the lead on the leads board is keeping the “updates” section separate and if there is lead specific data you want to keep on the leads board. Otherwise, I feel like you can still get all the same lead metric data as long as you capture the lead specific data (lead creation date, lead source, etc) correctly and migrate them to the deals board.
