I have 3 columns on a board and I want to copy these onto a backlog board, how can I do this making sure that when new items are created they are then copied into the other board ?

In order to achieve this, you’d need to set up this specific automation recipe…
and ensure that you have the same type of columns existing in your backlog board, so that you can map the columns from each board seamlessly - i.e. status column with status column, people column with people column, etc…
