As described, just doesn’t work, even with automations. The structure of automations is so rigid it’s impossible. Having actions assigned to a person need to be able to appear as-is (on the project management board) on each their own dashboard (also when multiple people are assigned to the same tasks, subtask, subitems) to organise their time (and be connected, so one can update status on their own dashboard and have it mirrored on the Project management board as well) with their other priorities. For an overview of the project one can always jump back on the project management board for a particular project.
