We have two departments that share data and to enable this to be done with ease. To do this, Dept A receives the item on their board. If specific criteria are met, the item is duplicated and added to a new board for Dept. B. However, some of the most important information we need is in the item update, and that can’t be duplicated to the board for Dept B. Someone on Dept B has to go in and manually copy/paste the items over into their boards. This is very time consuming and hinders forward progress. We’re trying to expand business without repetitive tasks.
Hi @amandaCNMG , give this automation a try… Use the “duplicate” action and click on it to include the updates. In this recipe, when status changes to “Approved - move” it will duplicate the item with the updates and then move it to another teams board.
