I have searched for this topic with no luck, but is there a way to create a board from an already created Google Calendar. We have a promotions calendar already started that I would like to import into Monday so I can start assigning tasks.

By using Google Calendar’s native monday integration I believe you would not need to visit Google Calendar at all. You could create a calendar view that would function similarly.
If that does not work out for you, you could additionally use this App which allows you to embed your Google Calendar on monday.
