Create automation when Excel spreadsheet is updated

I am using Zapier to update Monday when there are new or modified rows updated in an excel spreadsheet. I am running into an issue when uploading the customer name. In Monday this is a connected to the customer list, and when the workflow runs, it fails on this field with the following error:
–Failed to create an item in
Invalid value for undefined on undefined. The column has no connected boards

Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

It maybe that you are refrencing the wrong column on Zapier.
Could you please check and see if you are referencing the correct Monday column on Zapier, and see if the error still persists.

The issue was my customer column in Monday had a connection with the customer board so it would automatically pull in the contact. The zap api did not like that integration on the Monday board. Once I removed that, the integration worked as expected.

Is there a better way to handle this? We are pulling data from an excel spreadsheet and then inserting this into a sales board. We really do need that connect boards functionality in order to pull in the correct contact. Is there any best practices that you are aware of?
