Darshan Hiranandani : How to Trigger Automation 1.5 Hours Before a Date Column Time?

Hi all,

I’m Darshan Hiranandani looking for a way to trigger an automation based on a time relative to a date column. Specifically, I want to trigger an automation 1.5 hours before the time in a particular date column.

The date-based automation triggers I’ve seen so far seem to only allow you to select a fixed time for every occurrence of the automation, but my use case requires more flexibility. I need the automation to trigger dynamically based on the value in the date column.

It seems like this might not be possible, but I’m hoping someone here has a workaround or knows a better approach. Has anyone tried something like this or found a solution?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Regards
Darshan Hiranandani

Hi @darshanhira24,
Hey! While this isn’t a native feature in monday yet, you can use the Advanced Time Triggers app to set up actions based on dates and times saved in a date column.

The triggers are available in the automation builder, allowing you to create custom automations to trigger any action you need…
