Unfortunately, I dont think there isn’t currently a bulk or global column selection option for the Table Widget when you’re working with multiple connected boards. At the moment:
You do need to configure the visible columns for each board individually, even if all boards share the same column structure.
This can definitely feel tedious with 47 boards, especially when you’re showing only a few columns.
Workarounds
Duplicate Configured Widgets:
Configure the Table Widget for one board with the desired columns.
Then duplicate that widget and switch the source board(s).
You’ll still need to tweak the setup, but it’s faster than starting from scratch each time.
Use Board Mirroring or Roll-Up Boards:
Instead of connecting 47 boards directly, consider creating a master roll-up board that mirrors the key items from all 47 boards.
Connect the dashboard to the master board, reducing the number of times you configure columns.
thanks for the suggestions. Would the duplicate widget would result in 47 separate dashboards? is roll up board an add on from marketplace or are you using phrasing that matches market place for an out of box feature?
Unfortunately, there’s no built-in “apply to all boards” switch in the Table Widget UI. You really do have to pick your seven columns per board if you’re only using the out-of-the-box config screen. But you’ve got a few ways to shortcut the pain:
1. Duplicate and Switch Trick
Configure one widget on Board 1 with your seven columns
Duplicate that widget (hover → … → Duplicate)
In the copy, switch out the source board
You’ll still confirm the columns, but you start from your “good” list instead of all unchecked
2. Roll-Up (Master) Board
Create a single “Master” board that mirrors just the key items from all 47 boards
Mirror the same seven columns into that Master board
Point your dashboard’s Table Widget at the Master board
Now you set the seven columns exactly once—and everything upstream still flows in
Feature Request
If neither feels quite right, head over to monday.com’s Feature Requests board and ask for a “global column template” or bulk-apply option for Table Widgets. The more of us who upvote it, the sooner it’ll make it onto their roadmap
