Dynamic Date range filter for dashboard

When creating a filtered view within a dashboard, I would like to be able to specify a date or date range that would allow me to see updated group every time I review my dashboard, instead of having to reset my filters.

Here are a couple of scenarios of how I would use this feature:

  • I have a series of events that reoccur each month but am only interested in seeing the ones that are happening within the next two months from the date the dashboard is being viewed, while these events might exist for 2+ years on my board.
  • I have run planning meetings where we review content that is between2-6 months out, depending on the timing for the meeting. I ask my team to review the current state of our plans before we meet to discuss, and it would be very helpful to be able to lock in a future state view that the team could see just that quarterly planning information, instead of everything we have in the board for the next 2+ years.

How can this feature request only have 3 votes to date? Is there another similar request that has all the votes? Tallying time for using Time Tracker for a payroll period requires that we can specify a customer date range rather than aggregate by day, week, month… And I am sure that most companies need this capability.

Is there any way that we can escalate this to get it prioritized and developed? This is a critical feature that most of your competition offers.
