Good morning,
we have created an automation that we always receive an email when an item is due.
I wish I could click on a link and then be taken to the item. The simplest would be an element link column that I could then insert in the automation in the email text. Or is there a workaround?

If you have set up an automation to be notified, you should have the option to open that specific item through the email - as shown in my screenshot below:
