Email Automation Format Issue

Hello,

I am tying to send an automated email once an item is created in a board, I was able to do so with Outlook integration, however I cannot format the text of the email (no bold, italics, etc…) I tried using Supermail app that allows formatting and cc’ing, however I couldn’t find an automation that allows a template to be sent with an item creation. Any ideas on how to go about doing that?

I am also having this issue. Is there a work around?

@guy.gavish any thoughts?

I’m having an issue with line breaks. The email result displays breaks in the sentences and has no paragraphs. The emails are directed to clients; the messy formatting is unprofessional.

The message text is sent as plain text. Try formatting the e-mail using HTML - the mail client of the recipient should interpret it.

Don’t forget your HTML page headers.

Although I find it astounding that, yet again, paying users of Monday are expected to further pay for a third party add-on in order to make up for basic deficiencies in Monday’s. In this instance, a basic shortcoming in how they implemented email handling within Automations. It’s 2025 and the developers at Monday haven’t cottoned on to the fact sending out plain text emails is exceedingly 1990s?
