When you have a timeline item that has a dependency on another item and you change the date range for the this timeline item, it acts like it will accept the date change but then flips back to the original date without an error message. Something should pop up to warn you why it couldn’t change the date. Even it was only to say you can’t change the date due to a dependency. It would at least give you a clue as to the error.
