When creating an item - I have been trying to automatically populate a text column with the name of the group it was created in, but to no avail.
This technically works using the formula automation - See below
I have tried putting the formula in speech marks but nothing happens. All of the other automation I have created on the board works - a lot of it happening when the item is created.

I assume you are using General Caster ( or Autoboost?). Seeing as this is an app issue, I would suggest contacting the app developers directly, I know they will help you resolve your issue quickly.
