General Caster has the ability to take almost any column, apply a formula to it, and then put the result in a column of a different type. It’s very robust, but also feels like it should be a core and native feature of monday.com. I was surprised when I saw that I’d have to go to a third-party app in order to do some of the automations I wanted to do.
Monday.com has been quite slow, for instance, at allowing us to use mirrored columns in automations (it’s been two years and still nothing substantial yet) - while General Caster has a workaround for this. Has monday.com considered buying and integrating the app into their automation workplace? I think this would be a rather good business move, in my opinion.
Thanks for your time,
Andrew
