Help with calendar view

I want to have a calendar that displays deadlines (several from each project).

I’m trying to think of a way to do this where the calendar will show me what each deadline is referring to (see pictures). Any ideas?

Hi Bree,
You could create a new date column exclusively for your major deadlines and then set up a Calendar Widget to display these dates only.
For instance, if you add a “Major Deadline” column, you can populate it with the important dates from each project. As such by selecting only this column in your Calendar Widget, you ensure that less critical dates are filtered out while showing all significant deadlines.
FYI you could also color-code these deadlines based on project type to make it easier to identify them at a glance

Thank you so much for your reply!
Let’s assume each project will have three major deadlines and each project will be the same type. I want to use the calendar to view ALL of these deadlines on the calendar. I need to know at a glance what each deadline is for.
I’m hoping to make this work in Monday so that I don’t have to manually update an external calendar every time a Monday board deadline changes.

Hey Bree,

Is Colour by → Timeline column what you’re looking for? It gives events colours based on the column the date was sourced from. The option is a bit hidden. I hope that’s it!

If that’s not enough information, you can try Calendar Plus. We’re soon adding our “information at a glance” feature from our week view to our month view as well. This feature shows other bits of information from your items on events in the calendar. (To colour by column, just select no column to colour by.)
