High Level Calendar/Multiple Boards Visible to Entire Team

I’ve created a high-level calendar dashboard that feeds in all client boards and flows the critical meeting dates/due dates (filtered by a status column “Flow to Calendar”.) The master has all clients, and I thought that I could share with staff and they’d only see the dates for the clients (boards) they are specifically assigned to.

However, because they aren’t assigned to some of the Boards, they can’t view the calendar at all.

I don’t care if they see all the other clients. However, it will get messy for them if we assign everyone to all Boards when they only need to see their own subset.

Any ideas how to gracefully do this?

Can you change board permissions? Have you tried that. Our main boards don’t have everyone subscribed, but they do say “visible to everyone at *** team” (or something similar).
