Some of my colleagues work in specific segments and I want to create an automation to change a dropdown or a text column each time one of them gets assigned. How can I do that?

You can set up an automation in Monday by using the “When person is assigned, change column value” option. Go to Automations > Create Custom Automation and set the trigger as “When [Person] is assigned” and the action as “Change [Dropdown/Text] column to [Value].”
AI is in your Admin settings, it’s super easy once you get it turned on
