Seeking solution for: Updating the relevant item/contact with new info from a secondary form (Gravity Forms) using Zapier.
Everything’s dandy until I get to where I need to specify the item and it requires the item ID, or basically wants me to select an existing item/contact – which won’t work because this is an automation, and the item/contact will change as a variable.
There doesn’t appear to be any search function I can find – has anyone else faced this issue?
I’ve done exactly the same thing with Pipedrive, simply, with no issues, using Zapier.
It searches contacts for the phone number, then updates the contact with that phone number.
And done.
I need the same thing for Monday now – can anyone please help me figure out how?
Hi, @devbevco - Welcome to the community! You’ve found the skeleton in the closet for Zapier with monday․com - you simply can’t search (yet) for an item by column details. However, all is not lost! You can use Integromat instead, which allows you to search by any column value and then retrieve the data. Integromat is like Zapier’s big brother… a bit tougher to wrestle to the ground, but it’s worth it.
