How to skip an automation for a specific person?

Great idea @robopzet, I have a very similar need. Here’s the Feature Request I made for it. Please consider voting for it and commenting with your use case:

Who triggered the automation?

Can automations be conscious of which user triggered it? Here are my two use cases: In the custom email notification, I would like to add a line that would identify who made the change. Example: “A sub-item was changed to {sub-item status} by {user}.” I would also like the notification not to be emailed to me if I was the one to make the change. Thank you
