Include mirror columns in automations OR have a match recipe without creating a new item

I’d like to have the ability to include mirror columns in automations. The ask is to do something similar to the new matching recipes, but the need is to match columns on two different boards that the line items are already connected. Since the connection already exists in two related boards and line items, we cannot make two columns match per se. This is important because when the line item in one board is in a completed state, the second board now much be manually changed to match the same status on the other board. An automated two-way connections allows me to see the statuses on the other board, but not automate the matching process of two columns.
