Integrating Monday with Asana

I am frustrated that I the native integration on Monday will not map accurately all fields with Asana even if I build duplicate boards. Is there a better source that can allow all fields to map and sync both ways?

Hey @Voxer

I get your frustration—native integrations can be limiting. A Make.com or Zapier setup will be a better fit for syncing Monday.com with Asana, as they allow full control over field mapping and two-way syncing between the platforms.

I’ll create an automated sync that accurately maps every field even custom ones, and updates tasks/boards in real-time between Monday and Asana.
With this setup, changes made on either platform will reflect seamlessly without needing duplicate boards, keeping your data aligned and consistent.

Hey there!

I believe that Albato’s no-code automation platform could also be an option here, since they have integration with Monday and Asana - Connect Asana to Monday with no code - integrate easy with Albato

They have a free trial and a free plan if you want to try it out.

I have a Zapier free plan. I use it to map Google forms to Monday and Asana as the proprietary forms are not screen reader accessible. However, in Zapier, I still can not get one to one mapping. Is Make.com better. Do you know of a tutorial that I can review? Maybe it is operator error.

Hey @Voxer

I get what you’re going through—Zapier’s free plan has limitations, especially with complex one-to-one field mapping across apps like Google Forms, Monday, and Asana. Make.com (formerly Integromat) might indeed be the better solution for you.
