A monday.com communication product as an alternative to Slack or Teams would just be incredible. Our company would switch from Slack in a heartbeat. The basics are already in the work management product, so why not extend those features so we can really work in one place…?

this would be an incredible addition to the Monday.com ecosystem! Expanding the communication features to create a full-fledged internal messaging product, like a Slack or Teams alternative, would be a game-changer for many companies aiming to centralize their workflows.

Taking this idea further, I think Monday.com should also consider adding:

A Complete Email Platform:

  • Manage both incoming and outgoing emails directly within Monday.
  • Automate emails based on board actions and integrate email threads seamlessly into the system.

A Phone and SMS Platform:

  • Enable users to send SMS messages or even make calls directly from Monday.com.
  • Log all communication tied to specific boards, like CRM, sales, or support.

This could evolve into an entire new product category, alongside Work Management, CRM, Dev, and Services. A unified communication hub inside Monday.com would allow companies to work entirely within one platform, streamlining not just workflows but also communication.

I’d love to see Monday take this vision seriously,
