Hi Juliette, I’m checking to see how long it will take for this feature to be released. No exact date is necessary, but I’m debating using an integration for this. I’d rather use a native setting and not have to retrain my staff. Any update would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi everyone. I just spoke with the team and they said that the development may take a few more months since they are working on a few different features to upgrade how we interact with our boards. In additional to internal-only comment, this feature will also include ability to hide Updates sections (view permissions) for whole boards.

Hi everyone! Amy here from the monday.com team. As a quick update, we’re currently in Alpha with the Internal-Only Comments feature, which is available only for Enterprise accounts. To clarify, the focus is on enhancing board permissions at the account, workspace, and board levels, so you’ll be able to control who can view updates across these levels. This won’t be applied per update or item yet, but we’re working on making it more granular in the future.

A workaround for this is to create a copy of the item on the client on the internal board. Then you can leave internal-only comments on the items in the internal board.

We are on an enterprise account. How do we enable this Alpha testing? This feature would be a game changer.
